Cubs ... Cardinals ... Could it get any better?

I finally got around to taking the pictures from this past weekend off of the camera. We had Brendan's third birthday on Saturday, and Zoe's baptism on Sunday. Here is Uncle Rhett and Aunt Kerri.

The first law of toddler's birthdays: The fun in eating any cake is inversely proportional to the amount of cake that actually reaches your mouth. 

Brendan's favorite part of his birthday was his Spider Man cake. In case you were wondering, Hayden is wearing a Fisher Price stethoscope from a doctor's kit Brendan got as a present. 

Brendan with his new putter. As he told our neighbor, Jane Keating, when we were walking across the street to hit golf balls: "I'm Tiger Woods." 

Brendan opening his present - real golf clubs. Believe it or not, USGA's youth golf learning program begins at three. Not that we're beginning lessons or anything. I'm not raising a Marinovich. He can definitely hit the ball, though. The only slight problem is that he always wants to run the bases after he hits a really solid shot. 

Of course, to keep the peace, everyone (read: Hayden) gets a little present on Brendan's birthday. Here he is with his fireman's hat.

Here's Hayden about to go swimming.

Brendan, Hayden, and I went to Six Flags last night. We were supposed to go last weekend, but it's been raining continuosly. This picture is another in the series I call "Brendan and Hayden enjoying health food." It's rainbow sherbert ... it's got fruit.

Just testing Blogger's new mobile phone feature. We've been using Flikr to post pictures from our cell phones to the blog, but it now looks like Blogger supports this feature automatically. Very nice.

We made it to the Ozarks for our first vacation as a family of five. The boys wanted to go fishing right away. Zoe is hanging out with Grandma making dinner.
